ROCHESTER, Mich. — The 18th-ranked Wayne State University males’s swimming & diving squad competed in its regular-season finale on Saturday afternoon.  However, WSU fell 143-92 to host Oakland University contained in the OU Aquatic Center.

Wayne State’s new nationwide rating (18th – 88 factors) for Division II was launched on Friday and is in keeping with the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association’s (CSCAA) high 25 ballot.

“In our last contest against OU on this blustery afternoon, we swam really well after the wonderful event on Friday with Senior Day, said head coach Sean Peters.  I honestly did not know what to expect, but, in the end, there were some great races, and I was proud of our effort.  Next up, GLIAC’s!”
