Ubisoft Worker Claims He is Positioned on Unpaid Suspension for Criticising Return-to-Workplace Coverage

A protracted-time Ubisoft worker has taken to social media to assert that he has been positioned on an unpaid disciplinary suspension for feedback relating to the current return-to-office mandates.

Posting on LinkedIn, David Michaud-Cromp, who has labored at Ubisoft for greater than 13 years, says the corporate notified him that he would obtain a three-day unpaid disciplinary suspension.

According to Michaud-Cromp, the suspension, which is about to begin tomorrow, was issued in response to public feedback he made about Ubisoft’s return-to-office coverage and an “alleged breach of the duty of loyalty.”

Following the announcement of the 5-day return-to-office mandate, which Insider Gaming understands has confirmed to be an especially unpopular transfer with staff, David took to LinkedIn to say:

“So… Ubisoft wanna bring back 5 days in the office… because they “believe in collaboration”… however c’mon, we’re not fully silly… we very properly know why you wish to return to five days within the workplace…”

Michaud-Cromp alleges that these feedback led to the three-day suspension.
