Girls’s Hockey to play a pair of AHA video games at Lindenwood

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT girls’s hockey staff travels to Lindenwood for a pair of Atlantic Hockey America video games on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 30-31) at 4:00 p.m. and a couple of:00 p.m. EST.

LAST TIME OUT:

RIT gained 4-0 at Brown, Saturday. Senior goalie Sophia Bellina made 23 saves to earn her third shutout of the season and fifth of her profession. Junior ahead Linda Rulle and sophomore forwards Brac Kelley, Ireland Stein and Kailey Favro every scored a purpose, whereas sophomore defender Madison Buziak, junior ahead Addie Alvarez and first years Laura Dyke, Cassie Barnes, Riley Gramich and Kolbee Ashe every had an help.

 

ABOUT RIT:

RIT enters the weekend third within the Atlantic Hockey America standings with a 9-9-0 convention document and 29 factors. RIT is one level forward of Syracuse who’s fourth with 28 factors.

 

The Tigers common 3.1 targets per recreation and permit 2.3 targets per contest. The Tigers are 30-of-92 (32.6%) on the ability play and 73-of-92 (79.3%) on the penalty kill. RIT has gained 773-of-1,536 (49.7%) of its faceoffs and blocked 389 pictures.

 

RIT options six gamers with six or extra targets and eight gamers with 10 or extra factors. Alvarez leads the staff with 27 factors and 18 assists. Junior defender Emma Pickering is second with 26 factors and is tied for the staff lead with 11 targets. Kelley is third on the staff in scoring and is tied with Pickering for first on the staff with 11 targets. Favro is fourth on the staff with 18 factors (4g, 14a) and first 12 months ahead Tilli Keranen is fifth with 15 factors (8g, 7a).

 

Pickering leads the staff with 76 blocked pictures. Dyke is second with 37 blocks and junior ahead Linda Rulle and sophomore defender Madison Buziak are tied for third with 34 blocks every. First 12 months defender Riley Gramlich is fourth with 36 blocked pictures.

 

Bellina is 12-11 with a 2.34 goals-against common and a .920 save proportion, whereas sophomore Brenna McNamara is 2-2 with a 1.56 goals-against common and a .947 save proportion.

ABOUT LINDENWOOD:

Lindenwood enters the weekend fifth within the AHA standings with a 7-10-1 convention document and 24 factors. The Lions break up a pair of convention video games at Syracuse, shedding 2-1 on Friday and rebounding with a 4-0 win the next day. Sophomore ahead Paige Cline scored a purpose and senior goalie Lexington Secreto made 35 saves in web.

 

Senior ahead Molly Henderson scored two targets and had two assists in Saturday’s win. Junior ahead Zsofia Pazmandi had two assists and graduate scholar defender Josey Dunne-Weeks had a purpose and an help. Secreto made 37 saves to earn the shutout victory.

 

Lindenwood enters the weekend fourth within the AHA averaging 2.29 targets per recreation and is sixth permitting 3.29 targets per contest. The Lions are sixth changing 11-of-95 (.116 %) of their energy play probabilities and sixth killing off 81-of-104 (77.9%) of their penalties. Lindenwood is sixth within the league successful 767-of-1,649 face offs (46.5%) and fifth averaging 14.14 blocked pictures per recreation.  

 

Pazmandi leads Lindenwood in scoring with 22 factors on 10 targets and a team-high 12 assists. First 12 months ahead Tatiana Blichova is second on the staff with 21 factors on 11 targets and 10 assists and Henderson is third with 19 factors on a team-high 12 targets and 7 assists and is tied for sixth within the league in targets.

 

Dunne-Weeks leads the staff and is seventh within the league with 55 blocked pictures. Pazmandi is second on the staff with 47 blocks and Henderson is third with 42 blocked pictures.

 

Secreto is 6-9-2 on the season and is sixth within the AHA with 2.62 goals-against common, fifth with a .924 save proportion and third averaging 29.0 saves per recreation.

 

RIT VS. LINDENWOOD:

Lindenwood is 24-23-6 all-time towards RIT. The Tigers break up a pair of video games on the Gene Polisseni Center, shedding 3-0 the primary day and successful 7-1 the next recreation. Alvares recorded a hat trick within the 7-1 win and Pickering had three assists.
