Photoshop for Teenagers (Jul 20-24) — Houston Center for Photography

This course introduces college students to Adobe Photoshop, the highly effective imaging software program used to create and course of pictures for printing, publication, and presentation. Students will study to navigate the consumer interface, work with numerous instruments, and use layers and good objects successfully. Practice making alternatives, retouching, colour correcting, masking, compositing, getting ready information for the net, printing and extra. Lectures embrace in depth demonstrations adopted by hands-on follow in school and residential assignments verifying the proper software of reviewed materials.

Objectives:

• Understand the fundamentals of digital picture processing and file codecs

• Practice utilizing Adobe Photoshop’s numerous instruments and options

• Make alternatives and apply masks whereas utilizing the Brush device successfully

• Understand use Camera RAW, adjustment layers, vector layers, and good objects

• Learn retouch photos utilizing a set of instruments and strategies

• Automate your work utilizing Actions with Batch processing

• Optimize your working setting by defining workspaces in Photoshop

• Learn export and create top quality prints out of Adobe Photoshop
