Robert Baroniel ’15 – Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic External Affairs – Girls’s Swimming Help Employees

Robert ‘Bubba’ Baroniel joined Nova Southeastern University’s athletic division in August of 2021; having been elevated in August of 2022 to Manager of Revenue Generation, and Marketing and Promotions. Baroniel was promoted to the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic External Affairs in August of 2024.

Baroniel leads the exterior staff  that’s accountable for communications, growth and income era.

A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Baroniel competed as a four-year student-athlete on the NSU Baseball staff. During his time at NSU, Baroniel was chosen because the National Chair for the NCAA Division II SAAC; whereas serving on the Championships Committee and Strategic Planning Task Force. Baroniel went on to signal with the Normal Cornbelters of the Frontier League in 2015.

Prior to NSU, Baroniel served because the Sports Information Director at Lynn University; whereas having beforehand served in roles focusing tools, amenities and gameday operations.

Baroniel started his profession working in Student-Athlete Development on the University of Missouri from 2016-2018; and in Academic Advising on the University of Miami in 2018-19.

A local of Miami, Fla., Baroniel graduated highschool from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. Robert, his spouse and NSU alumnae Marissa, reside in Pompano Beach with their two youngsters, Levi and McKenna.
