Swimming Posts Three Carolina Top 10s At UNC Invitational On Wednesday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina swimmers kicked off the UNC Invitational by posting three Top 10s on Wednesday. Both Mary Macaulay and Ava Muzzy hit their marks within the 400 IM, whereas Samantha Armand did so within the 100 breaststroke.
 
Macaulay posted a personal-best 4:08.08 to hit the NCAA commonplace and transfer to No. 3 all-time at UNC. Muzzy blew previous her earlier private finest with a 4:10.23 that positioned her at No. 7 all-time. Armand turned in a blazing 59.77 to maneuver up one spot right into a tie for third all-time.
 
In addition, Emma Karam hit the NCAA commonplace within the 200 again with a 1:53.65.
 
The Heels shall be again in motion on Thursday for day two of the UNC Invitational. Action will start at 5 p.m. at Koury Natatorium.
