No. 10 WashU Ladies’s Swimming and Diving Sees Six Podium Finishes on Day 2 of UAA Championships

CHICAGO, Ill. – The No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis girls’s swimming and diving staff sits in fourth after the second day of the UAA Championships with 428 factors.
 
Top Finishers

• 1-Meter Diving

  • Junior Shanze Karimi claimed third with a rating of 457.70
  • Sophomore Kate Li reached the rostrum with an eighth-place end, scoring 344.05
    
     

• 200 Freestyle Relay
  
• 500 Freestyle
• Senior Ali Roche tied for sixth with a time of 4:58.25, hitting a NCAA B reduce
• First-year Sarah Cohen completed second within the B closing and tenth total in 4:58.06, hitting an NCAA B reduce
  
   
• 200 IM

  • Junior Rachel Bello completed fifth, swimming a time of two:05.93
    
     

• 50 Freestyle

  • Olasewere completed 15^th total with a time of 23.91
    
     

• 400 Medley Relay

  • Roche, Lee, Watson and Qi took fourth with a time of three:46.74, hitting an NCAA B reduce

 
Action continues tomorrow with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals and 6 p.m. for the next occasions: 100 butterfly, 400 IM, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay.
