Plenty of native swimmers certified for subsequent weekend’s District Meet following the D-II Swim Sectional Tournament Saturday at Ohio University in Athens.

The Athens gained the Girls Sectional in dominant vogue by successful all however one occasion, the 50 Free gained by Chillicothe’s Sarah Johansen. The remainder of the Top 5 groups have been Chillicothe, McClain, Warren and Wheelersburg. McClain is the Boys Sectional Champ adopted by Athens, Hillsboro, Chillicothe and Fairfield Union rounding out the Top 5. Team locations are beneath. Results from the Swim Meet App.

Among the realm qualifying ladies embody: Chillicothe’s 200 Medley Relay crew – Sarah Johansen, Meliah Stangle, Eva Johansen, Reina Cunningham; 400 Free Relay Team – Cunningham, Johansen, Johansen and MAxene Jones; Unioto’s Layla Scarberry (50 Free & 100 Backstroke); Scarberry, Haylee Hull, Alyssa Dollison & Kenzie Welch (200 Medley Relay & 400 Free Relay) and McClain’s Laura Barber (100 Free).

On the Boys aspect, Chillicothe’s Jonathan Crawford (200 Free & 500 Free); Isaac Crawford (200 IM); Malachi Upshaw (100 Breaststroke); Noah Beck (100 FLy, 200 IM); Upshaw, Crawford, Crawford and Sam Hurff (400 Free Relay) and Jonathan Crawford, Upshaw, Hurff & Noah Beck (200 Medley Relay) and McClain’s Ethan Eakins (100 backstroke).

Swimmers from the Southeast District are mixed with these from the Central District figuring out qualifiers to swim subsequent weekend.
