Texas A&M Gears Up for Problem at SEC Championships – Texas A&M Athletics

KNOXVILLE – The Texas A&M males’s and girls’s swimming and diving groups battle for convention supremacy within the 2026 Southeastern Conference Championships Monday by Saturday on the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center on the University of Tennessee campus.
 
Director of Swimming & Diving Blaire Anderson on the 2026 SEC Championships:
“I’m really excited about SEC’s. These kids have worked extremely hard, and they have honed in their craft over the past couple weeks and sharpened their tools. I’ve really seen them come together from a support standpoint and I’m excited to see that on display. Yeah, I think we’re in for a treat.

“I believe the most important development has been the psychological aspect. I believe, bodily, they’ve at all times been doing the correct issues, and (the teaching workers) coming in giving them the critique and suggestions that they should make it even higher. But I believe from the psychological aspect, it is understanding the best way to emotionally regulate, understanding what stress looks like, and the way to answer that. Also simply getting excited for each alternative, no matter if it is an A closing, a B closing, a C closing, it is nonetheless a possibility to symbolize your college at a really excessive degree. Getting Started :

• The SEC Championships get underway on Monday with the prelims and finals of the boys’s 1m dive. The diving prelims begin at 11 a.m. with the consolations occurring after the prelims, whereas the 1m closing begins at 4 p.m.
