Stunning examples of color, texture, vibrancy and motion are key parts among the many winners of the Sony World Photography Awards.

To mark its nineteenth version, the competitors decide, Ruby Rees-Sheridan, Assistant Photography Curator, at Britain’s National Portrait Gallery, selected photos taken up to now yr throughout 10 classes: Architecture, Creative, Landscape, Lifestyle, Motion, Natural World & Wildlife, Object, Portraiture, Street Photography and Travel.

According to the organisers, every single shot was judged on its “power to pique curiosity, spark imagination, and reveal a wider narrative.”

More than 430,000 thousand entries had been obtained from over 200 nations.

The Open Photographer of the Year might be revealed on 16 April at a gala ceremony in London, offered with a €4,000 money prize and a variety of Sony digital camera tools.
