Four Program-Report Occasions Surpassed For Swimming On Day One Of ASUN Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – Four program-record instances have been surpassed for North Florida Swimming on Wednesday at Day One of the 2026 ASUN Championships, held on the Rosen Aquatic Center in Orlando, Fla. 
 
Sophomore Abby Noga set the preliminary program report with a Prelims time of 23.31 within the 50 Freestyle. Noga’s time surpassed the earlier mark of 23.48 set by Ashley Kephart on the 2025 ASUN Championships. Noga surpassed her personal program report within the 50 Freestyle Finals with a time of 23.18 to shut out the preliminary day of motion. 
 
The night time session began with sophomore Katie Carlos, senior Victoria Torres, junior Kayla Daley and Noga breaking the 200 Medley Relay program report with a time of 1:41.84. 
 
Daley posted the 200 Individual Medley program report with a Finals mark of two:03.37. The earlier report was completed by Sara Evans at 2:03.78 on the 2012 CCSA Championships. 
 
“This was the best first day in my time here at North Florida at a championship,” Head Coach Ian Coffey mentioned. “We started off the morning session strong with good swims from both the 500 Freestyle and 200 IM groups. The 50 Freestyle was super fast today and we had five swimmers make it back at night with Abby Noga breaking the program record.”
 
“The night session started off with excitement with Katie Carlos, Victoria Torres, Kayla Daley, and Abby Noga breaking the program record in the 200 Medley Relay. In the 500 Freestyle, Grace Burton and Skyler Jansen stepped up and improved their times from the morning. Paige Munna won the B Final in the 500 Freestyle. In the 200 Individual Medley, Kayla Daley broke the program record while winning the B Final. To finish off the session, Abby Noga broke her own record again with a fifth-place finish in the Finals. It was a great start to the meet. A total team effort. We’re looking forward to tomorrow morning in Session 3″.
