Kayla Daley Earns Swimming’s First All-ASUN Honors On Day Two Of ASUN Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – Junior Kayla Daley broke the 100 Butterfly program document with a time of 54.30 to position third on Day Two on Thursday on the 2026 ASUN Championships on the Rosen Aquatic Center in Orlando, Fla.
 
Daley is the primary All-ASUN finisher in program historical past. 
 
Sophomore Abby Noga surpassed the 50 Freestyle program document for the third time on the ASUN Championships. Noga posted a 23.10 leadoff break up within the 200 Freestyle Relay to set the document mark. 
 
“Another great day for our swimmers, as we finished up Session Three and Four. In Session Three, we started off the morning with four of our swimmers making it back in the 100 Butterfly,” Head Coach Ian Coffey stated. “Brooke Bourn swam a personal-best time in the event. Our three swimmers in the 400 Individual Medley made it back at night as well, and we finished the morning session with four swimmers returning for the Finals in the 200 Freestyle.”
 
“In Session Four, Abby Noga led off the 200 Freestyle Relay in 23.10 of her third time breaking the 50 Freestyle program record,” Coffey continued. “Next in the 100 Butterfly, Reeves Showfety and Riley McCormick improved their times from the morning session. Kayla Daley made UNF Swimming history by placing third overall with a new program record in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 54.30. Kayla is the first North Florida swimmer to place in the top three at the ASUN Championships and earn a medal. Our 400 Individual Medley group all improved their times from the morning. We finished up with some good swims in the 200 Freestyle and the 400 Medley Relay. We’re halfway through the meet and I’m pleased on where we are. The meet is far from over, but we trained all year to finish strong on the last four sessions.”
