No. 1 Males’s Swimming and Diving breaks facility and program data within the 400-medley relay on day 4 of the 2026 SEC Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 1 Men’s Swimming and Diving secured its twelfth podium end of the competitors and sixth gold medal on day 4 of the 2026 SEC Championships, highlighted by a record-breaking efficiency within the 400-yard medley relay Thursday night on the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.

Texas opened the night session with the 100-yard butterfly, putting three swimmers within the championship closing. Kyle Peck led the group with a fifth-place end in 44.75, adopted by Ksawery Masiuk in sixth at 45.02 and Will Modglin in eighth with a forty five.42.

The Longhorns claimed their first medals of the night within the 400-yard IM, as Baylor Nelson earned gold with a time of three:35.75, shaving almost 4 seconds off his prelim mark of three:39.53. Rex Maurer joined him on the rostrum with a silver-medal effort of three:36.74, bettering on his prelim time of three:40.74. Cooper Lucas rounded out the group with a sixth-place end in 3:40.50.

Camden Taylor powered to gold within the 200-yard freestyle, touching first in 1:31.53 to steer the Longhorns within the occasion.
