The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) introduced on the twenty third that it’s internet hosting the thirty fourth Astrophotography Contest, accepting photograph and video submissions from February 23 to March 10.

 

The contest is split into three classes: Deep Sky, Solar System, and Earth & Space, and is open to everybody. Works which have gained prizes in different contests aren’t eligible for submission. This 12 months, the judging may even take into account the photographer’s intent and narrative, as detailed within the description.

 

Winners will obtain a plaque and a complete of 12 million KRW in prize cash. The grand prize winner can be awarded the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) Administrator’s Award. The profitable works can be featured in varied promotional supplies and in KASI’s annual astronomical calendar, the ‘Cheomunryeok.’
