Swimming and Diving Prepares for Missouri Valley Conference Championships

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The UIC swimming and diving packages are headed to Evansville, Ind. to compete within the Missouri Valley Conference Championships this Wednesday to Saturday. The Flames will look to take dwelling some {hardware} of their first postseason meet, with the meet starting at 10:30 a.m. (CT) Wednesday.

• The Flames had a file of two wins and 7 losses this season.
• Senior Harrison Nolan has earned 4 Missouri Valley Conference males’s Diver of the Week awards (Oct. 15, Oct. 28, Nov. 25 and Feb. 10),  reached an NCAA Zone C qualifying rating in each the one-meter, three-meter and platform occasions and set an MVC file within the one-meter (378.60 factors on Jan. 10).
• Freshman Jay Stewart has had an excellent first season, profitable three weekly awards, profitable MVC Men’s Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 15 and MVC Men’s Freshman of the Week on Oct. 28 and Nov. 4.
