Males’s Swimming and Diving Wins the 1000 Free, Remains in Third at Ivy Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard Men’s Swimming and Diving captured the 1000 Free title, breaking the DeNunzio Pool, Ivy League, and program data to assist the Crimson stay in third place Thursday on the Ivy League Championships.

After day three, Harvard (785.5) sits in third place behind Princeton (952) and Yale (874.5), and forward of Brown (586), Cornell (581), Columbia (580.5), Dartmouth (466), and Penn (444.5).

Prelims Highlights

• David Schmitt recorded a season-best 45.82 within the 100 fly to earn a spot within the A-final. Maro Miknic (46.35) and Sonny Wang (46.01, season-best) additionally certified for the A-final. • Chen positioned eighth within the 100 breast A-final with a time of 53.22.
• Arioti clocked a 46.01 to complete third within the 100 again A-final, whereas Schmitt positioned sixth with one other season-best 46.77. Pilkinton (47.65) completed fifth within the B-final, and Croley gained the C-final with a season-best 47.67.
• Gulia-Janovski represented Harvard within the three-meter comfort remaining, inserting fourth with 323.65 factors.
