Swim & Dive’s Frida Stretre Løbersli Qualifies for 2026 NCAA Championships

MIAMI – Frida Stretre Løbersli of the FIU girls’s swimming and diving program has been chosen to compete on the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, the NCAA committee introduced on Wednesday.
 
Stretre Løbersli was invited by the NCAA committee to compete within the 100 breaststroke on the No. 33 ranked spot with a time of 59.52. 
 
The choice for Stretre Løbersli marks the fifteenth consecutive 12 months that an FIU swimmer has been invited to compete on the NCAA Championships. The streak at present stands because the longest amongst all mid-major swimming and diving applications.

The championships shall be held March 18-21 on the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.

 

The sophomore has had a standout season thus far, incomes three complete medals on the 2026 American Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, securing silver within the 100-breast.
