Hellmann Qualifies for First NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Levi Hellmann is heading to his first NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships after inserting fourth on platform on the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Wednesday at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis, Maryland.

Hellmann positioned third within the prelims of the lads’s platform with 316.80 factors to advance to the finals. Needing not less than fourth place to qualify for the NCAA Championships, Hellmann put collectively two unimaginable dives to cap the day.
 
Hellmann scored 59.45 factors on his fifth dive and 55.35 factors on his sixth and remaining dive to position fourth with 608.70 factors. The fifth-place diver completed with 601.80 factors.
 
In the lads’s 3-meter prelims, redshirt senior Glenn Eloriaga positioned 37^th in prelims with 263.65 factors. Hellmann completed in 12^th place with 315.90 factors to advance to the ultimate. He positioned 12^th within the finals with 636.65 factors.
 
In the ladies’s 1-meter prelims, senior Abigail Sullivan positioned 30^th with 239 factors. She additionally positioned 28^th on 3-meter with 249.65 factors.
 
On the ultimate day of the championships, Sullivan completed 11^th within the remaining of the ladies’s platform with 424.05 factors.
