And you can hang out with us when we have these times, and you can have conversations and play sports or stuff like that that make you feel comfortable. It’s very important to us, as far as police officers, to be able to have that connection.”

“Then, when these kids see these officers back on a different day, for some odd reason, in uniform, they’ll remember them from that event they had as a good, positive [interaction] with them,” Fleet mentioned.

This is the police division’s second yr internet hosting the Spring Break occasion, and the occasion usually sees good turnout from the neighborhood’s children.
