Day Two of 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Finishes With Handful of Second Team All-American Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The SUNY Geneseo girls’s swimming and diving workforce excelled on day two of the NCAA Championship Meet on Thursday, March 19. Alex Sotek highlighted day two with a thirteenth place end within the 100 yard butterfly for Second Team All-American Honors. The males’s 200-yard freestyle relay workforce of Brian Pabisch, Jake Nielsen, Dylan Gallub and Peter Peyser highlighted day two for the Knights, ending in eleventh place with a time of 1:20.34, and incomes Second Team All-American honors 

On the ladies’s facet, day two of the meet noticed performances from Hannah Brockman within the 200-yard freestyle, Sotek within the 100-yard butterfly, Morgan Davey and Lydia Benjamin within the 1-meter dives and the 200 yard free relay workforce. Brockman opened the day within the 200 yard free, touching at 1:56.52, whereas Sotek secured a thirteenth place end, touching at 55.87 seconds. Davey led for the Knights within the 1-meter diving, scoring 392.65 prints for sixteenth, adopted by Benjamin in 18th with 387.15 factors. Davey would earn Second Team All-American honors.

Sotek, Erin Johannsen, Sibby Lowe, and Emily McCord took on the 200 yard freestyle relay to spherical out day two, ending at 1:35.19 for twenty second place. 

SUNY Geneseo’s males are tied for 18th with 26 factors by Thursday, whereas the ladies are twenty seventh with 11 factors.
