Wawa opens new journey middle in Shawnee Township close to I-75 | Allen County

SHAWNEE TWP., Allen County, Ohio (WLIO) — Pennsylvania-based Wawa has opened its latest location in Shawnee Township.

Located on Breese Road simply off Interstate 75, the corporate welcomed prospects to its new journey middle Thursday morning. Wawa operates greater than 1,100 comfort shops, and round 1000 of them that provide gasoline, throughout 13 states and Washington, D.C., providing gas choices together with gasoline, diesel and electrical charging, together with made-to-order meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Shawnee Township website is certainly one of solely three Wawa journey facilities at the moment open, becoming a member of areas in North Carolina and Indiana.

“So it’s a little bit bigger than our standard store, about 8000 square feet, and we have amenities for local friends and neighbors, travelers and professional drivers, so things like our fuel court great food inside, and then for the professional drivers, we do have high speed diesel. We have a cat scale weigh station, we have truck parking, and then lots of amenities when you come in to purchase different things that you may need while you’re on the road,” says Alyson Mucha, Public Relations Supervisor, Wawa, Inc.

The Shawnee Township location employs 50 associates and marks Wawa’s twelfth retailer in Ohio.
