Destination Madison highlights enjoyable actions to do this weekend

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – With spring starting, Destination Madison has all of the enjoyable journey plans within the Madison space to take pleasure in.

“There’s always something to do here, no matter the weather,” Sarah Warner, Senior PR and Communications Manager at Destination Madison, stated. “We are lucky to have such a vibrant community of makers, creators and artisans. It’s great to be able to support them.”

Giant Jones Brewing is internet hosting their fifth annual Barley Wine Festival from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday night time and three to 9 p.m. on Saturday night time.

They may have 15 barley wines on faucet, and their brewer, Jessica, can be giving particular guided flights.

Also on Friday night time, The People Brothers Band can be acting at 7:30 p.m. on the Stoughton Opera House.

“It’s a very stunning setting, and they’ve been a great band,” Warner stated. “They’ve been around since 2008, great music.”

On Saturday, folks can get work on their crafts with The Curious Crafters.

From 1 to three p.m., the crafters can be doing a guided workshop on crafting flowers. The price is $22.

“They are such professionals,” Warner stated. “They are going to walk you through it.”

Also for crafts, the Green Whimsey can be internet hosting a consignment sale for arts and crafts. The sale is not going to embrace yarn or material.

The sale will happen from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday on the Verona Holiday Inn Express.
