International College students Journey to Capital

International college students attending Central Methodist University traveled to the state capital on Wednesday, March 11 for the 2026 International Education Day, placed on by the Study Missouri Consortium. Seven CMU college students participated, representing Central as the one non-public college to attend amongst 11 whole colleges.

Study Missouri, a grassroots group comprised of faculties and universities throughout the state, is devoted to selling worldwide schooling. The day in Jefferson City was designed to spotlight worldwide college students throughout Missouri, in addition to college students from Missouri establishments who’ve studied overseas, acknowledging each teams’ pursuit of world engagement.

Accompanied by Dong Han, enrollment administration specialist in CMU’s workplace of world engagement, Danda and 6 different Central college students loved a day filled with actions in and across the state capitol. They participated in a social icebreaker, listened to a pupil panel on success, heard from a pupil interning with the state legislature, and took half in a networking exercise.
