DENVER – The University of Denver males’s and girls’s swimming and diving applications will mix to ship three student-athletes to the 2026 USA Swimming Open Water National Championships at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, this week
The occasion shall be dwell streamed on the USA Swimming Network.
Finn Holdredge will open the championships for the Pioneers with the 10K males’s occasion on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. MT.
A day later, Holdredge shall be joined by ladies’s swimmers Paige Reilly and Genevieve Franklin within the 3K Knockout occasion. DU’s ladies will start at 8:30 a.m. MT, whereas the boys’s race begins at 10 a.m. MT.
The 3K knockout occasion consists of three rounds. The first spherical shall be a 1500m lap through which the top-10 will advance to spherical two. Friday’s second spherical is a 1000m lap and the highest half of the 20-swimmer discipline will advance to the ultimate spherical. The last spherical is a 500m lap.
Saturday morning, Reilly and Franklin will swim within the 5K ladies’s occasion at 6:10a.m. MT.
