Associate Director, Group Travel

Elevate Destinations is searching for an skilled, considerate, and extremely organized Associate Director, Group Travel Operations to assist and strengthen our Group Travel (GT) division.

This position is central to the supply of Elevate’s Social Impact Journeys and group journey applications. Our Social Impact Journeys group companions with worldwide nonprofits and foundations to design and handle donor journeys, board & workers retreats, and charity challenges world wide. These immersive experiences enable vacationers to attach deeply with the folks, locations, and missions driving change.

This place combines hands-on account management with growing accountability for group administration and operational oversight. The Associate Director will be certain that each journey is executed with precision, care, and alignment to our mission of accountable and impactful journey.

This is a management position for a candidate who brings sturdy operational rigor, emotional intelligence, and a deep dedication to excellence in each shopper expertise and group improvement.


Reporting Structure

Reports to: Director, Group Travel

Quarterly alignment with senior management

Direct experiences: Initially casual oversight, transitioning to full administration of three group members


Role Evolution

Phase 1 (6 months):

  • Direct administration of three key accounts
  • Lead upcoming shopper journey in September
  • Oversight of broader account operations and programs throughout GT group
  • Mentorship and assist of two group members

Phase 2 (6–12+ months):

  • Full folks administration accountability for group of three
  • Ownership of group workflows, efficiency, and output high quality
  • Active position in shaping division processes and scaling operations


Core Responsibilities

Team Management and Leadership

  • Manage, coach, and develop a small, high-performing group
  • Provide clear course, suggestions, and efficiency assist
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive group tradition
  • Identify talent gaps and assist skilled improvement
  • Partner with Director on hiring, onboarding, and coaching programs

Account Operations Oversight

  • Oversee execution throughout a portfolio of GT accounts
  • Ensure accuracy, high quality management, and consistency of deliverables
  • Review supplies previous to shopper supply for readability, completeness, and alignment
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively troubleshoot points
  • Serve as escalation level for operational challenges
  • Step into accounts as wanted to assist continuity and supply

Key Account Management

  • Directly handle 1–2 high-priority accounts
  • Lead all features of journey improvement together with itineraries, logistics, and vendor coordination

Qualifications

  • 7–8+ years expertise in journey or occasion operations

Salary Range

$70,000 and commensurate with prior expertise
