Tehassi Hill named Indian Gaming Association vice chair, holding Oneida chairmanship

Chairman Tehassi Hill was elected to be Vice Chairman of the Indian Gaming Association Wednesday throughout its annual conference in San Diego, California.

The Indian Gaming Association was established in 1985 as an initiative to characterize gaming tribes within the nation and to advocate for tribes to function and regulate their gaming actions pursuant to federal regulation and treaties. The IGA represents 186 tribes and affiliate members.

Hill says his platform is to advance Indian gaming succinctly with the development of expertise and all of the assets accessible to tribes.
