Eight Retrievers Named to CSC Swimming & Diving Academic All-District Workforce

Eight Retrievers had been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators, the group introduced on Tuesday.

The awards acknowledge the nation’s prime student-athletes for his or her mixed performances within the pool and within the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program individually acknowledges honorees in 4 divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Brendan Hanlon, Axel Mori, Sean Neils and Nick Zaharescu had been chosen from the Men’s crew, whereas Alicia Buteau, Erma Duratovic, Ashley Gutshall and Breanna Smith had been honored from the Women’s crew.

Academic All-District® honorees had been thought-about for development to the CSC Academic All-America® poll. Both Gutshall and Neils had been chosen as CSC Academic All-America® finalists and can advance to the nationwide poll to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees can be introduced April 28 (ladies) and April 29 (males).
