Swimming Quartet Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Maura Rubio, Sara Turner, Laryssa Webster, and Taylor Weth, members of the Saint Francis girls’s swimming staff, have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Turner turns into the second three-time honoree, becoming a member of 2026 Saint Francis Athletics Hall of Famer Elise Lofgren. Webster earns her second CSC recognition, whereas Rubio and Weth obtain their first distinction.

Turner gained the 400 IM, whereas ending second within the 200 fly and fourth within the 200 IM on the NEC Championships. Turner has a 3.90 grade-point common in Heath Science PT.

Rubio, who boasts a 3.84 grade-point common and is majoring in Early Childhood-Special Education, completed third within the 100 again and fifth within the 200 again on the NEC Championships. 

Webster, who has a 4.00 grade-point common in Accounting, positioned sixth within the 200 fly and eighth within the 100 fly on the NEC Championships.

Weth, who has a 3.77 grade-point common in Health Science PT, completed second within the 100 breast, fifth within the 200 IM, and seventh within the 200 breast on the NEC Championships.

Turner is the seventh student-athlete since 2022 to earn the excellence 3 times, and the twelfth since 2001. Webster is the thirty third student-athlete to earn the glory twice in her profession since 2022 and the fortieth since 2001.

In 2022-23, CSC modified the standards to require {that a} student-athlete boast not less than a 3.5 grade-point common (in each undergraduate and graduate if in graduate college), compete in 75 p.c of competitions or end top-eight at a convention meet.

Saint Francis girls’s swimming has had a CSC All-District athlete 15 instances since 2001. The Red Flash has had 26 picks in 2025-26 and has had 278 student-athletes honored since 2001-02.
