Get prepared for a summer time of discovery! The 2026 Person County 4-H Summer Fun schedule is right here, that includes all the pieces from beekeeping and robotics to survival abilities and soil science.

Whether your baby is a “Cloverbud Creator” or a “Stem-tastic” fanatic, there’s a program for each age group this June and July.

Summer Program Highlights:

  • Cloverbud Creators (Ages 5-8): Discover beekeeping, science, and humanities & crafts from June 2–4 ($20/baby).
  • Earthy Explorations (Ages 9-18): Dig into soil varieties, vegetation, and pollinators from June 9–11 ($30/baby).
  • Safety Explorers (Third-Fifth Grade): Learn first support with native EMS, construct survival kits, and play firefighter video games from June 15–18 ($100/baby).
  • Stem-tastic Adventures (Ages 9-18): Work with robots, AI packages, and physics from June 29–July 1 ($30/baby).
  • Betsy-Jeff Penn Camp (Ages 8-14): A traditional in a single day expertise from July 5–10 that includes canoeing, mountain climbing, archery, and extra ($50 deposit).
  • Tie-Dye Textiles (Ages 9-18): Master coloration concept and craft distinctive designs at Hawkins Loop from July 14–16($30/baby).
  • NC 4-H Congress (Ages 13-18): Head to Raleigh from July 20–24 for per week of management workshops, formal dances, and group service (Call for value).
  • 4-H Investigates (Ages 10-15): Solve crimes utilizing DNA, fingerprints, and hair evaluation from July 29–31, together with excursions of the native courthouse and jail ($30/baby).
