WARETOWN – The Waretown Branch of the Ocean County Library will host Nature in Ocean County, an exhibit by award-winning native photographer Don Edwards, from May 1 till June 30 within the department’s assembly room. Edwards’s work consists of nature, wildlife, landscapes, cityscapes, and astrophotography.
“The series…I have selected for this exhibit depict scenes using lighting, color, textures and perspectives showing the unique beauty of our world,” particularly southern Ocean County and Waretown, Don mentioned, including that he favors early morning or late day gentle for his or her dramatic accents.
“Cityscapes, bridges…come to life in the evening as the lights help define their impressive structures and presence,” he mentioned. “You will have the opportunity to view and appreciate the wonders of astro photography, the beauty of sunrises and sunsets, amazing wildlife, [and] landscapes that make our area so unique.”
Since coming into freelance images in 1974, Don Edwards has earned eight alternatives to non-member reveals in Manhattan’s unique Salmagundi Art Club. His pictures seem within the NJ350 Elements venture and guide, improve the décor of St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston, and have been displayed in Morristown’s Morris Museum, the Sussex County Fair and Nature Photographer on-line journal.
