In Warframe: 1999, besides a myriad of exciting additions to our gear in Warframe, we received Cyte-09, the latest sniper warframe, alongside the Vesper 77 pistol. Along with these innovations were two minor reworks to legacy warframes: Nyx and Trinity. While Trinity’s rework was considerably more modest than Nyx’s, it nonetheless enhanced her effectiveness in various activities, though not in endgame scenarios. Before diving into that topic, let’s discuss the build I have been utilizing since her rework.
Warframe Trinity Build
Here is the configuration I am using for her:
To clarify a few points, aside from Molt Efficiency, you can utilize the other arcane slot for whatever suits your preference. Arcane Precision can boost secondary weapon damage to assist her allies, while Arcane Energize may not complement her original ability which regenerates energy for players rapidly. A dedicated Range and Duration build, accentuated by a slight amount of Strength and Efficiency, significantly improves the reach of her abilities and their duration. Rejuvenation assists with passive health restoration; you may choose Dreamer’s Bond if you prefer that option. Combining Primed Redirection with her shield attribute enhances health.
Lastly, here are the Archon Shards I am utilizing:
Clearly, you can interchange any of these since they largely serve aesthetic purposes. However, I do suggest retaining a Tauforged Amber Shard to ensure a satisfactory casting speed, as you won’t be able to equip a Natural Talent on her.
Trinity Post Rework Review
I genuinely believe there remains much potential for Trinity with a thorough rework. Nyx offers a fundamentally different gameplay experience, whereas Trinity merely feels somewhat enhanced. Her default ability duration is improved, and her casting no longer requires a pause. Additionally, Link has also been slightly enhanced. However, beyond serving in support roles during Defense, Survival, and related missions like Archon Hunts, she still isn’t advisable for endgame challenges such as Netracells, Deep Archimedeas, or certain sections of the Steel Path. While I appreciate that she is somewhat more enjoyable to play, I would strongly recommend Citrine for endgame support needs.
