Chatham Glenwood’s Kylie Sullens concluded yet another successful season, and the sophomore may have additional achievements to demonstrate after being recognized as The State Journal-Register’s All-Area Girls Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Year.

Sullens played a pivotal role in Glenwood’s triumph at the Central State Eight Conference meet in Normal, securing victories in the 200-yard IM and achieving her personal best in the 100 breaststroke at 1 minute 9.67 seconds. She contributed to the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams.

Sullens managed to improve her time in the IM (2:15.31) and finished fifth at the Chuck Fruit Aquatic Center during the Edwardsville Sectional. She was also fourth in the breaststroke (1:10.34).
