Trusted leaker RivalsLeaks disclosed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the Human Torch is among the forthcoming heroes Marvel Rivals developers appear to be focusing on. Images and abilities of the character have emerged online, suggesting that his appearance may be imminent. The character is displayed in his Fantastic 4 outfit, completely surrounded by flames. Furthermore, his hair, eyebrows, and eyes reflect the color of fire.

In the same conversation, RivalsLeaks also released the in-game abilities page for the Human Torch in Marvel Rivals. His primary attack is named Fire Cluster, with the secondary being Blazing Blast, and his Team-Up ability with Storm is referred to as Omega Fire. Additional abilities include Supernova, Plasma Body, Pyro-Prison, and Flaming Meteor. Explore what each ability does below.

• Supernova (Q): The Human Torch generates a shockwave that damages adversaries within a specific radius. When activating this skill, flame fields will transform into flame tornadoes.
• Plasma Body (L-Shift): This ability enables the Human Torch to achieve a state of rapid ascent.
• Pyro-Prison (E): With this skill, players can connect flame fields to form a fire wall that inflicts damage on enemies.
• Flaming Meteor (F): This capability allows the Human Torch to plunge to the ground, stunning nearby foes.
• Blazing Blast (Right Click): Players can generate a flame field in a targeted area by launching a fireball through this skill.
