PARK CITY, Utah — Following a prosperous initial round of their refill pilot initiative, fulFILLed Lifestyle Co. has secured a second Sustainable Tourism Grant. The primary grant was designed to assist local property management firms in transitioning from disposable amenities to refillable hygiene products. The subsequent grant, totaling slightly above $21,000, aims to expand this initiative within hotels.

Boutique hotels serve as the perfect candidates for the next stage

Currently, Kimberly Flores is on the lookout for boutique hotels to enroll in this phase of the program. “Most hotel chains we’ve engaged with have chosen suppliers, but boutique establishments are ideal for this sustainable tourism grant,” she remarked. “This project covers expenses for premium dispensers, custom branding, staff training, and marketing materials.”

fulFILLed Lifestyle Co. sources high-end, non-toxic shampoos, conditioners, and body wash. These are the sole products that pilot participants incur costs for. Single-use plastics are entirely eradicated from the supply chain. Once the hotel depletes its initial five-gallon stock, fulFILLed Lifestyle Co. collects the five-gallon containers, sterilizes them, refills them, and returns the new supplies to the hotel.
