Flint Hills Discovery Center Unleashes Adventure with a Fun-Filled Kids’ Day!

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – The Flint Hills Discovery Center welcomed visitors on Friday for a Fun Day filled with arts, crafts, and originality.

“Today is our sculpt and shape day,” remarked Deanna Likes, Flint Hills Discovery Marketing Specialist to 13 News. “We organize various themes for these events, encouraging kids to come in and simply create. It’s a delightful experience, and it’s just an additional activity we provide, costing only $5 for the wristband, offered on days when school is not in session.”

For a mere $5, local youths could unleash their imagination with an array of arts and crafts activities. Numerous interactive displays, such as the Discovery Center’s latest Everbright board, were also available.

“We’d love for you to stop by,” Likes expressed. “It’s an excellent venue to visit on a chilly, gloomy day. It’s also a wonderful place to enjoy when the sun is shining and it’s 110 degrees outside. Thus, we strongly encourage you to come, especially if you’ve never experienced it before.”

On New Year’s Eve, the Discovery Center is set to host one of its most significant occasions of the year– Family New Year’s Eve.

“This year, it’s a pajama jam, and we are thrilled; it truly is the finest New Year’s Eve celebration I’ve ever attended,” Likes stated.

Registration for Family New Year’s Eve is exclusively based on pre-registration. Spaces are limited, so those wishing to bring their children on the 31st are urged to get in touch and register as early as possible.
