Mleiha Club Makes Waves with 33 Medals at 2nd Swimming Championship!

The tournament was conducted in a spirited and competitive atmosphere, during which the participating teams delivered commendable performances across various categories

Mleiha Sports Club excelled by securing the third place trophy after accumulating 33 colored medals, comprising five gold medals, fifteen silver medals, and thirteen bronze medals, illustrating the efforts expended to sustain ongoing success in swimming within the emirate

Crowning Ceremony

The crowning ceremony and recognition of the winners by Mleiha Club was attended by Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, a member of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Sports Club and Chairperson of the Sports Games Committee; Abdulrahman Muhair Al Ketbi, a Board member of Mleiha Sports Club and Head of the Media Committee; and Hamid Abdullah Khasouni Al Ketbi, Swimming Supervisor. They awarded medals and trophies to the victors in the presence of representatives from SSC and the emirate’s clubs, where all acclaimed the level of organization and the high competitive spirit exhibited by the participants.

Remarkable Performance

Among the athletes who displayed remarkable performance during the competitions were Mohammed Hareb, who secured two gold medals and three silver medals, alongside Hamid Al Khasouni, who achieved three gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal.

Salem Hareb claimed one silver medal and one bronze medal, while Salem Tamim earned two silver medals and two bronze medals.

Abdulrahman Al Khasouni also shone by earning three silver medals, Abdullah Sultan took home one silver medal and one bronze medal, and Awad Hareb distinguished himself by winning one silver medal and one bronze medal.

Dhiab Omar exhibited a remarkable standard by capturing one silver medal, just like Salem Musabah, who also attained one silver medal. Hamdan Khalifa managed to win one silver medal, while Mansour Al Maadi secured one bronze medal, Mayed Harb took home two bronze medals, and Abdullah Al Ali earned two bronze medals.

Mansour Tamim was awarded one bronze medal, and Abdullah Tamim also won a bronze medal.

Accomplishments

Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, a member of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Sports Club and Head of the Sports Games Committee at Mleiha Club, confirmed that the accomplishments achieved in the Second Competitive Swimming Championship stemmed from the great endeavors undertaken by the athletes and the coaching staff over the previous period.
