“Poco X7 Series: Dive into the Future with IP68 Durability, Arriving in India Next Month!”

Poco is poised to unveil a new smartphone collection in India. The forthcoming Poco X7 series is set to debut in India next month. The firm has confirmed the launch date. This series will consist of a Pro variant alongside the standard variant. The company has also verified the availability information of the smartphones prior to the launch. The standard variant is anticipated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, while the Pro variant is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC. 

Poco X7 Series India Launch and Availability 

The Poco X7 series is scheduled to be introduced in India on January 9 at 5:30 PM IST, as announced in a post on X by the company. The promotional graphic indicates that these upcoming smartphones will be available for acquisition through Flipkart. 

The collection is expected to include both the standard Poco X7 and the Poco X7 Pro. In a different thread, Poco India’s Head, Himanshu Tandon, clarified that there will not be a “Neo” variant included in this series.

Poco X7 Series Specifications (Anticipated)

The Poco X7 is anticipated to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, with configurations offering up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Pro variant is likely to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC. Both models are expected to operate on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.

The standard Poco X7 might integrate a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This display could support HDR10+, TÜV Rheinland eye care certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Pro version is anticipated to have a 6.67-inch CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED display boasting a 2,560Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits.

Regarding cameras, the Poco X7 may come with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera featuring OIS support and 2x optical zoom. The Pro version could provide a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, OIS, and 4K video recording abilities. The basic model is expected to offer a 20-megapixel sensor.

Both the Poco X7 and X7 Pro are slated to possess IP68-rated designs for dust and water resistance. The standard model may include a 5,110mAh battery with 45W TurboCharging capability, whereas the Pro variant might feature a 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired HyperCharging.
