GREENVILLE, S.C. (WHNS/Gray News) – Authorities are disclosing further details surrounding the passing of a 17-year-old worker related to go-karts at a recreation park in South Carolina.
Based on the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the worker has been identified as 17-year-old Kamel Seveion Sewell.
Investigators reported that Sewell met his demise in a crash involving a forklift and a go-kart at Frankie’s Fun Park on Friday.
Officials stated that Sewell was operating the go-kart when it struck an industrial forklift, which was also being maneuvered by a park employee.
