What:
We are examining cardiovascular reactions to caffeine and e-gaming
- You will be seated at a desk equipped with a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and headset for 2 hours playing either Valorant or Overwatch
- Blood samples will be collected before and following the gaming session
- During every visit, you will consume either caffeine or a placebo
- You will need to refrain from food and beverages other than water for 8 hours, and avoid caffeine, exercise, nicotine, and alcohol for 24 hours before each lab session.
- The anticipated time commitment involves two lab visits (~3.5 hours each, separated by a minimum of 24 hours)
