Navigating the Global Journey: Essential Travel Docs You Can’t Overlook!

All travelers (including infants) are required to possess a passport that is valid for a minimum of six (6) months beyond the end of their journey and must include at least one blank page for immigration procedures at specific ports of call.

Guests must ensure they have the following forms of identification. Depending on your nationality, certain travel documents may be necessary to enter various destinations on our itinerary. Where relevant, please consult the links below to confirm if visas are needed based on your nationality and take the required actions to acquire them.

While we strive to furnish you with comprehensive information, it is the responsibility of guests to adhere to all travel and documentation stipulations for their cruise. Unfortunately, individuals lacking the necessary documentation will be unable to embark, and no remuneration will be available.  

Cruises Traveling to the United Kingdom and Europe

ETA – UK Electronic Travel Authorization

• All individuals (effective January 8, 2025) who do not possess a passport from the United Kingdom or Ireland are required to secure an electronic visa, referred to as the UK Travel Authorization, to enter the UK by air or sea.

Please be aware:

• The visa may take up to three business days to receive.
• The ETA will be granted electronically and will remain valid for two years or until the relevant passport expires.
• Every traveler, including children and infants, must obtain an ETA.

ETIAS – European Travel Information and Authorization System

• The ETIAS Travel Authorization is a prerequisite for visa-free nationalities, among them U.S. and Canadian citizens, traveling to the majority of European nations. 
• ETIAS Travel Authorizations will be processed online and must be finalized prior to travel. It is associated with an international traveler’s passport and remains valid for up to three years or until the passport expires, whichever occurs first. If a new passport is issued, a new ETIAS Travel Authorization must be obtained.

• Depending on your nationality, specific travel documentation might be necessary to enter the United States. U.S. and Canadian citizens are not required to obtain visas.
• Nationals from countries that are part of the Visa Waiver Program must have an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval for travel. ESTA applications can be submitted any time before travel and must be completed for each member of the traveling group. Applications can be submitted here.
• Nationals from countries outside those eligible for the Visa Waiver Program must secure a visa to enter the United States.
