Unveiling the Teaser: Meghan Markle’s Exciting New Netflix Lifestyle Series Drops Its First Trailer!

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has at long last unveiled a teaser for her forthcoming lifestyle program filmed at home, With Love, Meghan. If you’ve ever hoped that Ina Garten’s titular program was infused with just a little more royal flair, your desire is about to be fulfilled. Check out the teaser, which was shared in its entirety on Markle’s Instagram Stories on Thursday, below:

Formally, this eight-episode series is defined as a cooking program, yet Markle’s culinary abilities are reputed to extend into gardening, and it seems that the show will encompass that as well. Alongside “sharing some of her most cherished tips and tricks for cooking, gardening, crafting, and beyond,” Markle will be seen interacting with notable figures such as chef Roy Choi; writer, actor, and director Mindy Kaling; and slow-food advocate Alice Waters. It’s easy to envision Markle and Waters engaging in plenty of conversations as they wander through Markle’s garden in Montecito (which, per the trailer, features what seem to be marigolds—though again, I have no expertise in gardening, so they could be an entirely new rose variety for all I know).

With Love, Meghan, which is being brought to us courtesy of Archewell Productions, will premiere in full on Netflix on January 15 at 12 p.m. PT, translating to 3 p.m. ET for those of you who might be sufficiently enamored with Meghan to excuse themselves from a late lunch to catch an episode or two. After all, it’s the closest experience we Americans have to a royal wedding, and many individuals woke up early and gathered at the gates of Windsor Castle—so is there really any reason to critique? Mindy Kaling has already prepared masala dosa with Kamala Harris, so it’s quite natural that her next move would involve stepping into the kitchen with Markle.
