Harrison Breaks Into Softball America’s Preseason Elite: Ranked #87!

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri softball junior pitcher Cierra Harrison has been named to Softball America’s Preseason Top 100 player list, as announced by the organization on Monday morning.

Harrison, who hails from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, was ranked at #87 in the standings. This preseason accolade marks the first of her career.

In the 2024 season, Harrison achieved a record of 14-3 in the circle, with an impressive 2.05 ERA over 106.0 innings, striking out 87 batters. She completed four games and secured three shutouts along with a save.

Harrison recorded her first career no-hitter against Texas A&M-Commerce on February 16, achieving eight strikeouts. Additionally, she contributed a complete-game shutout against Auburn on March 9, accumulating nine strikeouts.

During her two seasons with the Black & Gold, Harrison has amassed a 22-5 record, including six complete games and four shutouts.
