The cloud gaming service Blacknut has revealed the introduction of Ubisoft+ Classics to its platform.
Ubisoft+ is the publisher’s subscription service, which includes Classics and Premium tiers. Classics offers gamers a selected list of older titles, such as Far Cry 5 and Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Starting January 17, 2025, both new and existing subscribers of Blacknut will have the opportunity to access Ubisoft+ Classics through an additional subscription or by linking a Ubisoft+ Classics subscription to their Blacknut account.
The collaboration between Blacknut and Ubisoft was disclosed last August.
Ubisoft also holds cloud rights to both current and future Activision titles for the next 15 years, under Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
“The partnership between Ubisoft and Blacknut has already achieved notable milestones, and the launch of Ubisoft+, starting with Ubisoft+ Classics, marks a new phase for our global players,” stated Blacknut CEO Olivier Avaro.
“We are excited to lead the way in providing this kind of flexibility, quality, and accessibility to our players around the world across all our regions and partners, supported by the strength of our infrastructure and variety of devices.”
