CHICAGO (Jan. 11, 2024) – The UIC swimming and diving program enjoyed a successful weekend, earning four total wins against Eastern Illinois (186-70) (168-90) and Southern Indiana (200.5-85.5) (195-98) at the Flames Natatorium.

STATEMENT FROM HEAD COACH ASHLEY DELL
“I’m immensely proud of how the team performed in both competitions this weekend. Competing in back-to-back events isn’t an easy task, particularly following a week of intensive winter training, and they excelled. We’re in an excellent position for the remainder of the season and I’m looking forward to honoring the seniors next Saturday!”

STATEMENT FROM ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH/ HEAD DIVING COACH SUSAN BROMBERG
“The divers excelled, with two personal records from Sami on the three-meter board and Camryn on the one-meter. Additionally, five seasonal best scores were achieved by Harrison, Cole, Christian, Gabby on three-meter, and Kerry on one-meter. You could truly notice that their hard work during winter break has paid off, and I’m eager to see how the rest of our season unfolds.”
