The robot vacuum that picks up laundry

Assisting has acquired a new definition. The Saros Z70 from Roborock is a robotic vacuum and mop hybrid featuring a folding arm and claw. This groundbreaking gadget captured everyone’s attention at CES, attracting a crowd of tech journalists and content creators, including myself. I observed as it deftly retrieved dirty laundry and placed it in its allocated spot. It was a blend of fascination and slight absurdity — witnessing a robot perform a simple task like picking up a sock.

Your beauty, reimagined – Samsung’s AI mirror

Indeed, this high-tech mirror pointed out my wrinkles. Sometimes, reality can be harsh. It utilizes an embedded camera to analyze your face, then suggests products. The mirror boasts remarkable clarity, with over 90 percent transparency, closely resembling a traditional mirror in reflectiveness. While you gaze at yourself, it provides immediate feedback on your skin, merging a typical experience with intelligent digital features.

Enhanced movie nights – a portable projector with a subwoofer

The C2 Ultra Laser with 4K is arriving in Australia. It has a multitude of sensors and arrays capable of identifying various elements, such as the color of white on your wall, and adjusts the image accordingly. However, my favorite feature — a subwoofer located at the bottom!

LG’s gaming monitor that can flex on demand

This display can alternate between flat and curved configurations to accommodate various gaming preferences, and it is genuinely a world-first with its 5K2K resolution. It also features quick response times for seamless gaming experiences. Furthermore, it should function well for multitasking due to its ample screen space.

The mirror that monitors your health metrics

This was the second AI mirror I encountered at the exhibition; however, this one concentrated more on health aspects. Presently, Omnia from Withings is merely a conceptual design, yet it has the capability to measure weight, heart rate, blood pressure, and even conduct advanced tests like ECGs for cardiovascular health.

The stick vacuum that is also robotic

Who doesn’t appreciate a versatile gadget? This Deebot Hybrid from Ecovacs merges robotic cleaning with a user-friendly manual mode, enabling it to perform both whole-home cleaning and focused spot cleaning. When the handle is attached, it transitions from a robotic cleaner to a manual cleaner that is easy to maneuver.

The mothership that transports and charges your aircraft

The Xpeng Aero HT is a modular electric vehicle paired with a flying car. The ground vehicle, affectionately referred to as the “Mothership,” functions both as a transporter and a charging station for the two-seater aircraft stored in its rear compartment. This is not merely a prototype — it has already taken flight earlier this year and orders are booked for 2026.

This was LG’s vision of how we will navigate in the times to come. In-cabin visual intelligence observes your heart rate and even gauges your focus to ensure you’re attentive to the road. It also identifies signs of exhaustion and may suggest places to pause for coffee.
