CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – During week 14 of the weekly accolades for the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming & Diving season, Virginia Tech’s Carles Coll Marti was honored as Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week. Meanwhile, SMU’s Luke Sitz and Virginia Tech’s Nathan Cox were recognized as co-winners for Men’s Diver of the Week. Virginia’s Katie Grimes earned the title of Women’s Swimmer of the Week, and Aranza Vázquez Montaño was awarded Women’s Diver of the Week.

Coll Marti received the ACC Men’s Swimmer of the Week accolade for the second consecutive week after aiding the No. 19 Hokies in their triumph over No. 17 Virginia. The fifth-year senior emerged victorious in each individual event he participated in, which included the 100 breast (50.78), 200 breast (1:51.03), and 200 IM (1:42.61).
