Journey for Knowledge: Unlocking Student Travel Opportunities

ENRS is excited to provide six scholarships of $500 each to student members chosen to present their paper or poster at the 37th Annual Scientific Sessions, happening on April 3-4, 2025. Candidates are selected based on their demonstrated dedication to the field of nursing research, as indicated in the application, accepted abstract, current CV, and a single letter of recommendation. The recipient must be an active ENRS member.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• All applicants must be current members of ENRS and enrolled as full-time students in a graduate program.
• The applicant must have submitted an abstract that has been accepted by peer-review for either a paper or poster presentation at the conference. Awarding of the scholarship is contingent upon abstract acceptance.

Your application should contain the following documentation: 

1. A completed Personal Statement (maximum 250 words)
2. Statement of Institutional Support/Letter of Recommendation (maximum 1 page) – This letter should be penned by your professor, department chair, or dean indicating that they endorse your attendance at the conference as part of your professional growth and, if relevant, will offer additional funds to supplement this scholarship. Ensure that the letter is on official letterhead and signed.
3. Conference Accepted Peer-Reviewed Abstract for the 2024 Scientific Sessions
4. Your CV or Résumé

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

The deadline for submitting your completed scholarship application for the 2024 36th Annual Scientific Sessions is Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status at the start of March.
