Phaedra Parks Spills the Tea on Her Exciting Romance with a Younger Beau!

Phaedra Parks is currently enjoying a lot of romance in her life!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 51, recently had a chat with E! News and shared insights about her current romantic situation. Clarifying that she is not in search of anything very serious, Parks indicated that she has been seeing a younger gentleman — and fans may soon catch a glimpse of him on their screens.

“I encountered him on Married to Medicine,” she stated, further revealing that her co-star Latesha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford “observed everything as it unfolded” after making the introduction.

“Good old Sweet Tea, dear,” Parks remarked. “She’s in a relationship with an age difference, and she hosted this lovely event which turned out to be the highlight of the season.”

“I’m just enjoying myself,” she added. “It’s nothing too intense and I’m uncertain if I’ll ever settle down. Perhaps there’s another man out there for me. I’m an equal-opportunity employer. Dating has been enjoyable, but I do not wish to remarry. I want to retain all my finances.”

While Parks did not disclose the exact age of her new interest, she mentioned that being with someone younger has its advantages.

“When you hit your 30s, you can engage in most activities without waking up sore the next day,” she elaborated. “Occasionally, maturity might be a drawback, but I believe there are more benefits than pitfalls when dating a younger guy.”

Parks hinted at her relationship in November, during a panel at Bravo Fan Fest, where she disclosed that she was seeing a “delicious” guy in his “early 30s.” Nonetheless, she reiterated her stance on not wanting to remarry following her turbulent six-year marriage to ex-spouse Apollo Nida, with whom she has sons Ayden, 14, and Dylan, 11.

“[Marriage] isn’t something I have an inclination for. I’m quite affluent, and I can provide for myself. I relish the power to make my own decisions,” she expressed at that moment. “Women know that when one has a husband, sometimes you must… be polite.”

Aside from her active dating life, Parks has spent the last year broadening her horizons in reality TV. Alongside Married to Medicine, she participated in The Traitors and took part in Dancing with the Stars. She also announced her comeback to RHOA in July.

“They reached out to me and I responded,” she informed PEOPLE the following month. “We were the top franchise of Housewives and I played a role in making that franchise thrive. I would love to restore the franchise to its former glory.”

“I must say, it’s going to be an incredible season,” she added. “It will certainly bring back memories of the Housewives you cherished in the beginning.”
