Wishing a joyful Birthday to Mr. M! He visited my studio from nearby Swampscott for his first birthday and cake smash photos in March 2023. It’s astonishing to think that nearly two years have gone by since then. We commenced his session with family and individual portraits. I adore the adorably little overalls he wore during the family pictures. The one-piece he changed into was possibly even more charming! But then, it was all about the cake!
For the cake smash segment of his first birthday pictures, his mother opted for a spring/Easter theme. We utilized the backdrop I had for my in-studio Easter sessions that year, added the wooden letters spelling ONE, and of course, included a cake decorated like a carrot. His outfit, adorned with bunnies and balloons, blended the Easter theme beautifully with a birthday celebration. So delightful!
