Thanks to the winter season, testing this transformation was effortless, and the phone’s color indeed altered. The device is also offered in Premium Vegan Suede Leather (for Suede Grey color) and India-exclusive color – Bikaner Purple.

The smartphone is remarkably lightweight and slender, making it easy to hold and operate. The quad-curved back cover and the matte Pearl White finish provide a luxurious feel. The placement of buttons is user-friendly, with the power button and volume controls conveniently positioned on the right side. The USB Type-C port, dual SIM tray, and speaker grille are neatly arranged at the bottom. On the front, the curved display integrates seamlessly into the frame, while the circular camera module on the back accommodates its remarkable triple-lens configuration.

However, the operating system includes some unnecessary applications, which I consider a drawback for those seeking a minimalist design. Navigation feels instinctive, featuring customizable widgets and smooth gesture controls. Realme has incorporated various AI-enhanced tools, including the AI Ultra Clarity 2.0, AI Snap Mode, and AI Eraser 2.0.

Processor

The new Realme 14 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, developed on a 4nm TSMC process. Equipped with an 8-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz and an Adreno 810 GPU, the phone delivers seamless performance across different tasks. My review unit arrived with 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Benchmark results emphasize the phone’s competitive edge, achieving a single-core score of 1190 and a multi-core score of 3227 on Geekbench. The GPU score of 3349 ensures smooth handling of graphically intensive games. Compared to the Moto Edge 50 Pro, which reported a single-core score of 1150 and multi-core score of 3151, the new Realme 14 Pro+ performed slightly better.

Gaming performance was superb, with steady frame rates. The phone’s 6000mm² VC cooling system guarantees stable performance during extended sessions, maintaining acceptable temperatures. After an hour of gaming, the device’s surface remained comfortably touchable, making it a dependable partner for gamers.

Camera

The Realme 14 Pro+ 5G sports a triple rear camera arrangement featuring a 50 MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens, and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 32 MP selfie camera guarantees high-quality portraits and video calls.
